Back again, my friends after a short holiday in the USA but here’s my chat with Dick Lucas from the legendary UK punk band, Subhumans, and also the ska punk rockers known as Citizen Fish. We talk records, The Young Ones, UK punk rock, Social Conditioning, DIY, Political Correctness, John Peel, Chumbawamba, and more in this episode. Quite an interesting chat and I hope you’ll hear something you didn’t already know. Thanks heaps to Kamala Parks for helping in lining this interview up. Very much appreciated.

This is one interview that has been a long time coming. My guest this week is none other than Screamfeeder bassist and singer / songwriter extraordinaire, Kellie Lloyd. This is a fantastic chat about everything from young Kel growing up and discovering music to her time in Screamfeeder and her solo works, to coping mechanisms and anxiety. It goes deep and that’s how we do it on the LGLRS. I hope you’ll all get something out of this cos it’s a good time and quite interesting. Thanks Kellie for coming on the show.

I don’t even know how to deal with this one cos this week’s episode is huge! Pete Kostic is this week’s guest and it’s so much fun as I go all nerd with one of my all time favourite drummers. Pete has a history in music that is so damn impressive to any Aussie rock nerd and we only just scratch the surface in this hour of power but never fear because there will be a follow up down the track but right now, this is one show you are going to enjoy.  We talk about being a part of Front End Loader, his time with The Hard-Ons, and of course playing with one of Australia’s most successful “indie” bands, Regurgitator. Pete is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet and I am thankful he agreed to come on this show and share his hilarious stories.

Episode 115

Well this week’s show is freakin’ awesome! Our special guest is none other than punk rock engineer / producer, ex-Screeching Weasel bass player, and founding member of Squirtgun, Mass Giorgini. If you’re a fan of 90s pop punk, then chances are you’ve been listening to records he’s either engineered, produced or played on. This episode is filled with stories revolving around working with the likes of Ben Weasel, Danny Vapid, Jughead, Dan Panic, Dan Lumley, Zac Damon, Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt, The Hard-Ons, Anti-Flag, Rise Against, Green Day, and the list goes on. He talks about his time at The Lookouting and that one song that shot them straight into peoples homes with the movie Mallrats. This is a two hour interview of solid punk rock goodness and you’re gonna love it! Listen in right now by clicking on THIS LINK. Enjoy tunes by anyone and everyone Mass talks about on the show.
