This week’s episode is a double dose of radness. You get not one but TWO interviews on the one show. Basically, they’re both short interviews around 20 – 25 minutes each so I put them both together and now you get the best of both worlds. Not a bad deal, if you ask me. Both of these guys are touring Australia with their respective bands so get on out and see their shows. First up is Denis ”Snake” Bélanger from VoiVod talks about the early years of VoiVod and Jello Biafra putting out their demo and also one of the most incredible gig line-ups I’d ever heard that totally blew me away and I had to nerd out on that with him and get the deal. Michale Graves dives in on his time with the Misfits, obviously, but also touring with Marky Ramone, working with Daniel Rey, plus more. I really hope you enjoy these quick chats.

Three guys, one call. Reprobates with a passion for trash wax eloquent on the mould breaking Australian slasher Scare Campaign, their mutual love of Weng Weng, and the impending destruction of Melbourne at Monster Fest next month.

We’re back in the saddle again, Aerosmith style, to bring you another kickass episode where the Long Gone Loser himself, Damo, sits down for a chat with WWE Superstar and Fozzy vocalist, the Ayatollah of Rock N Rolla, Chris Jericho!!! We talk Beatles, Rolling Stones, Rock N Roll, Podcasting, the first records he bought, his worst Podcast guest, and of course his tour down under in November with Fozzy. This was a quick chat but still a lot of fun. I hope you’ll find something in this of value. Thanks once again to John Howarth for his help in organising this.

This week’s guest is none other than Peter Zounis, guitarist from the old Sydney punk legends, Spunkbubbles. The Spunkbubbles were a band that lasted around 4 or 5 years breaking up at the end of the 80s. They had a demo, released two records on Waterfront Records, had some tracks on compilations, and then the band unfortunately dissolved. Still, 35+ years later, those classic records still get played in the LGL office quite often. And why not? I’m pretty stoked to have Pete on the show in another addition to my never-ending quest to interview someone from every band I loved as I grew up. I hope you enjoy the show.

This week, my special guest is none other than Michael Sweet from heavy metal legends, Stryper! We talk records, the stripes, the yellow and black, religion, heavy metal, their Aussie tour that starts this Friday and we nerd out over gear. And why not? It’s a fun chat and Michael is an all round top dude. Hopefully we can get him back on the show in the future to go deeper cos we didn’t even really scratch the surface with this one but there’s great stories found within.

Devon (Vocals) and Craigums (Bass) from All You Can Eat in Adelaide, Sept 94.

This week’s show is nothin’ but a good time as Craigums from the bands The Love Songs, All You Can Eat, Your Mother, and countless others, joins me to discuss all of the punk rock antics and his time seeing all the good bands, touring Australia so they can play Mildura, joining bands when you don’t even own an instrument let alone play an instrument, putting out records on a bunch of cool record labels, etc. the list goes on. This show is a fun ride from start to finish. Get a pen and paper handy cos you’re probably going to be writing down a ton of notes so you can go and discover the bands he talks about. There’s a lot of great stuff in here so do yourself a favour.
